On May 1, 2011 she her vehicle was struck by someone your company insures. On May 2, a claim was opened, and on May 3, your company sent out a letter that stated that Farmers would not pay the claim without looking at the damage.
(Can you really close a claim without seeing the damage???)
Our entire family is dis-appointed and outraged with the decision to not pay to have her vehicle repaired for the simple fact that the damage was caused by your insured. It is our belief that your company is refusing to pay simply because there is no police report and there is a he said/she said element to the claim.
(No its just your policy to deny claims and make people suffer)
If someone would have looked at the damage to both vehicles and looked at the intersection it would have been easy to see who was at fault. So we are providing the following pictures for your consideration. As you will see, the damage to my Aunt's car is located on the passenger side. That means that the damage on the car your company insures is on the front end.
(Front End Damage and its not her fault - impossible)
According to my Aunt, she came to a complete stop at the intersection. When the light was green, she proceeded forward. When she was ¾ way through the intersection, the other car struck her while making a right turn. It appears that your driver failed to insure that the intersection was clear. Also, according to my Aunt your driver admitted to her that she was reading something. It is our hope, that providing you with these photos that you will allow insure that her vehicle is repaired.
(Whats the chance of this happening)
Farmers Insurance is a very reputable company and is used by many of our friends and family.
(not for long if I have anything to say if I can help it!) I am confident that by reviewing the photos you will see the that denial of the claim is the wrong decision. After all, it is impossible for someone to strike another car using the passenger side while traveling straight.
