Farmers Insured Totals My Truck

On June 17, 2011 a farmers insured pulled out in front of me in Charleston, MO. Both our vehicles were not driveable, they had to be towed. It was a mjor ordeal getting in contact with the Farmers Agent since the insured was from Wisconsin. To make a long and UNHAPPY story short....they could not schedule an adjuster to look at my truck for 12 days. They would rent me a compact car but not a truck. My truck is my business and I had to buy a truck myself so I could continue to work at my job as I am self employed. On June 28th the adjuster decided my truck was totaled. It is now July 6th and still no check. It has been 22 days and still no settlement check. Please do not even consider Farmers Insureance...they are a JOKE!

Who is/was your total loss adjuster? Did you tell him/her you needed a truck for work?
