Car stolen and treated like a criminal

Posted by Highly Upset
My car was stolen over a month ago and I was red flagged and have been treated like a criminal. I met with an investigator who brought up things like a job related injury I had over 13 years ago. I bought my car from Craigslist and was asked to give them the number of the person I purchased the car from. Off of Craigslist? I gave phone records and about 50 pages of other documents they asked for. I have cooperated and was threatened by the investigator that if I didn't come up with a phone number he'd say I wasn't cooperating. I told him he had my phone records and to go through them himself that's not my job. He also asked why I talk to my sister so much?! Are you kidding me?? I received a letter stating they need up to another 30 days to investigate more! Wtf else are you investigating you have everything including both sets of my car keys. I am so upset that I'm the victim being treated like the perpetrator. I have filed a complaint with DOI in California and hope that helps. Worst thing I've ever been through and it's affecting my health. Oh yeah and they are still taking the automatic payments out of my account for my premium. The nerve!!!! If anyone knows of any other measures I can take please inform me.
