How to deal with bad adjuster with Farmers

Posted by RUA
I'm appalled that 21st Century was bought out by Farmers Insurance. Soon after the take over we noticed the changes. It's more like 21st is gone and only a front to get customers under the good name. Later only to find your premiums are raised and service is gone.

We were involved in an accident and were told out vehicle was a total loss. Not that this is to be disputed however it's obvious Farmers does not want us to replace the vehicle for a comparable vehicle. From the start it was "Sure we'll consider receipts, bills etc. that may change the value". However that is all talk and in the end it's always. We don't care this is what we're giving you. The adjuster just steam rolls and if we don't agree she closes the claim and it's what she determines from her computer screen.

Everything appears to be done via a boiler operation in Kansas by NON-21st century people who at first don't even appear to be Farmers Insurance people. All we want is to replace our vehicle for the premium we paid. We're not even talking about more than $5000

Do we hire a lawyer and who pays for that?
Do we get a public adjuster to determine a fair value and replacement?
Who else can we complain to to expose what Farmers does to anyone who makes a claim?

Thank you
I'm in California near Bakersfield
