The Farmers.com is the worst webpage. When you sign up, you no longer receive paper bills. I knew a payment was due, the webpage would not let me in. I even tried to reset my password. I gave up after about a week of fighting with the page each night. I called my agent. She quoted me an amount of $23 and some change and to mail it right away (that was 3/26). I did the next day mail $25.00. She accepted it on 3/29 and deposited it 3/30. In the meantime a cancellation crossed the payment and they claim they mailed it. Yesterday I am told I was cancelled because the amount due was $55 and the amount I sent was not enough. I called my agent, and she said her notes say she talked to me but not what about. My option is to accept a notice of cancelled insurance and start my "experienced" rated coverage from scratch over a month of no coverage because she misquoted. While on the phone, she continued to say $23.18 was due, I said "yes and I mailed $25.00", then she said another screen said more, but she was confused what I really owed. I told her I want reinstatement back to the cancel because she made the mistake, she said it was impossible. I called later to pay the reinstatment fee and will write a letter, but the assistant then told me I was on a "no paper bill" so I would not receive the cancel notice in the mail. I have NEVER filed as much as an auto claim for anything, EVER and I have been driving for almost 30 years. I have no tickets and am a preferred customer to anyone else. I have been with her for almost five years, but not even a phone call when the amount they had required $30 more to keep me insured. Where is the logic!?
