I have had Farmers for many years,never made a claim,never missed payment,never late on payment.
Last week I received a letter with my wife's,mine and some stranger's name with our new policy.
I called our agent,first thing he said was "did you get your check"?
Check,what check I asked.
Never mind he replied,everything is OK,I am not sure where the other person's name came from.
He then said,listen,I am about to leave on a float trip,don't worry.
I told him to enjoy his weekend.
When I went on line to make my house payment I noticed Farmers had been paid my yearly policy amount plus another payment for over $1200.00.
When Monday rolled around there sits in my mailbox a new policy for the $1200.00
amount with a $500.00 refund for the difference in the old and new overpayment.
When I called my FORMER agent he said Farmers reviewed your policy and this is your new rate.period,end of discussion.
I informed Mr. Steve Armstong that would not do,he said fine.
Wow,after more than a decade of taking my money with no claims I am thrown out with the trash.
Thanks to this site I have found coverage close to my previous rate,Thanks!!
