Hello:
Be aware Farmers Insurance is making every effort to avoid paying for roof damage caused from the intense October 5th, 2010 North Phoenix hail storm. The out of town traveling claims crews from OK and KS are telling customers who have expensive tile roofs the chips, cracks and broken tile are normal wear and tear. These cement tiles are manfactured to last a life time under normal conditions. The hail was measured from 1 inch to 2 inch in size and did major property damage to an estimated 800,000 homes including cars and trucks. The storm erupted in Scottsdale at mid day and moved westerly towards Glendale, AZ. Rain, hail and high winds did billions of doallars in property damage.
Farmers has major claims loss exposure due to this violent storm. They seem willing to pick up claims under $5,000.00 per occurence but do not want to take responsibility for roof hail damage. We are taking billions of dollars in potential insurance losses. If you are insured with Farmers you need to file a claim WITHIN ONE YEAR and have the roof inspected by a good roofing company along with at the same time while the Farmers claims adjuster is on the roof. Do not allow Farmers on your roof without you and your roofing company present. The mode of operation for Farmers is to deny any hail damage occured to your shingle, roll roofing and especially expensive Cement Tile Roofs. The path of this storm was Scottsdale, AZ moving Westerly along Bell Road to Glendale AZ. You have one year to file a claim for damages then all deals are off. You pay for home owners insurance don't let Farmers mis-lead you with double talk your roof is OK.
Do not trust Farmers Insurance to act in Good Faith or be honest with you about your actual damages. Farmers is telling customers after doing roof inspections none of the damages you may have experienced was caused by the HAIL. Farmers is trying to make you believe everthing is OK but in reality you could have $25,000.00 in damages to your property and your roof. I have reason to believe 1,000's of customers insured with Farmers are being ripped off. An estimated 800,000 homes substained major hail damage.
Please email me at patswafford@cox,net or call me at 602-695-2255 if you believe Farmers is ripping you off. If your neighbors are getting new roofs or repairs being made most likely they are not insured with Farmers, State Farm or All State. THANK YOU.................
