Roof and Ceiling Damage Not Paid

I have a leak in my roof that has caused damage to wood in my attic and ceiling. I was told this would not be paid because it seems like normal wear and tear and can not be tied to a specific storm.

It was most likely caused by a number of hurricanes over the past 6 years. Just because they can't identify a specific storm which caused this, I have to replace the roof and wood damage out of pocket.

Maybe this is normal in the insurance world but the person on the phone had an attitude about the whole thing and sounded happy to tell me that this wouldn't be covered by Farmers.

I already have a new insurer for my home but I will never, ever buy a Farmers policy again in my life.

I FILED A CLAIM FOR WATER DAMAGE DUE TO HEAVY RAINS, SOMEOME CAME OUT FROM FARMERS AND DENIED MY CLAIM AND STATED IT WAS DUE TO WEAR ANDTEAR AND WILL NOT HONOR NOR REPAIR THE DAMAGE. SIMULAR SITUATION IN 2010 NOT A PROBLEM. I CONTACTED MR. ------ AND WAS TOLD THE POLICY WAS CHANGED WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR MY MORTGAGE COMPANYS AS WELL 01/2014...NEVER SIGNED NOR SEEN OR AGREED TO NEW POLICY GUIDELINES. I CONTACTED MORTGAGE CO. AND THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE AS WELL. WOULDN'T WEAR AND TEAR START AS SOON AS ANY NEW ROOF IS BUILT. I THINK ITS HORRIBLE TO TAKE MONIES MONTHLY FROM DISABLED SENIOR CITIZENS JUST TO BE DENIED WHEN ITS TIME TO OWN UP TO THEIR RESPONSIBILITY. NEED TO BE ADDRESSED FOR FRUAD TO SAVE OTHERS FROM THESE CROOKS

Hello I am hoping someone may be able to help we have farmers and they have approved our claim for water/mold damage due to our roof leaking.They have hired a company to come in and remove all the water and mold damage we have. The original estimate from the removal company was for all of our exterior walls to be removed however farmers decided that even though the water/mold damage is from the roof that only removing 4ft from the ground should be enough to get rid of all the damage.... ( scratching head) now correct me if I'm wrong but if the water is coming down from the roof wouldn't the whole wall be effected?
Another thing is that the removal company (who just started working last week but demo is supposed to start this week) was told specifically to see if any of the damage could be caused by something other then the roof lik a leaky pipe or something. My question is that if they determine that some of the damage is from the roof and other parts from something else does that mean that they don't have to cover the entire demo/removal bill? I'm very concerned because the company they sent in HAS to remove all the mold/water damage in the house regardless. I'm worried that if they remove/demo anything that they feel may be from a leaking pipe we are going to be responsible for paying for that portion of the removal company's bill. Can they do that?

My roof damaged in the latest hail storm in Colorado Springs (bad enough storm that it made the national news) Roofer out to the house as well as an adjuster, Farmers wants to pay less than half the amount of repairs due to depreciation on the roof...I am considering a bad faith lawsuit, any others in this situation?
