I considered working for Farmers in 2004 but I found some startling facts. 1st when a person applies for life insurance they are told they will be thoroughly tested for all drugs. Not true. They are only tested for cocaine and herion. Not marijuana or other drugs as they are told. They are also not told they will be tested for cigarettes as they are told. The most startling of all is that Farmers keeps this info for their agents, so the agents pass this on to perspective clients. It is also surprising at the amount of test results are "not recived", they are just conviently lost. I recently won a class action suit against farmers (which is posted on this site). Farmers couldn't cancel my policy because I had been there for over 25yrs, so instead they raised my rates $800.00 a years. I did leave but I am not done with Farmers yet. I know to much about them. I urge everyone to leave Farmers, I did. It took 10 yrs to settle my class action suit. Don't think Farmers won't try to screw you too, just because it hasn't happened to you, your turn just hasn't happened to come around yet. Buyer be very aware.
