Does anyone have Farmers CEO Paul N. Hopkins home number?

I am so fed up with my previous agent she with held (pocketed) premiums paid my me and several others in my area - until we started to get cancelation notices we had no idea - all of us were CHARGED service fees by Farmers to get our policies re-instated even though the agent was subsequently fired by farmers for stealing.
Sometimes the best way to fix things is to go to the top and wake them up bright and early in the morning at home.

I doubt if anyone could get his home number but I bet there are plenty of ways to write him at home and get his email.

This company is prettty weird by charging the so called service fee of $2 per policy per each payment cycle. Also, it charges policy fee each time it issues or re-instate the policies, and they are not refundable. Another odd thing this company does is if you owe money to Farmers, it will do everything it can, even through collection angencies, to get the money back. But if it owes money to you, it will do everything possible to deny or delay the payment till you become very mad.

Agents working for this company are also victims.The company charges every penny to the agents for things like marketing fees, sales promotion fees, prize distribution fees etc. which are not charged anywhere else. It also charges the "new career agents" subsidy back if the new career agents leave this company within two years. It states that the subsidy is a loan to the new agents which is just the money giving away by any other companies. Thirdly, it impound 90 days of new business commission after the new agents leave the company, which no company else does so. The conclusion is that this company is odd, weird and greedy to both of it clients and agents.

My sons garage burned down. Farmers refused to pay him anything for the contents saying it was all business related, which it wasn't. shame on them.

Everything you said, plus has happen to me. I have all the proof since 2006 and that's how long this has been going on. It's so much that, I could probably right a book. I would first say, ask for copies of your billing statements. They have debt,credit and balance on them. They will not give me my originals anymore, but it's tooo late. I have billing and old policies from 06. Also, register on online account. You can see all the activity with your billing. I didn't know about any of this untill my paid in full policy was canceled Jan 09. I was swapping two other vehicles, when the agent tried to implement the third paid in full vehicle. Which didn't expire for two months. He was originally dealing with my wife. She said, he call her about the third vehicle and told me to call him. That's when i started looking at policies and noticing I was not on them at all. When we print our cards off our online account, I was on the cards. I will come back to this.

I called the agent and told him that his agent had taken care of everything and to leave the third vehicle alone, but he act like he didn't understand . I reinterated, to not tuch anything else and that was Jan. 06 2009. On Jan. 27 2009, I recieved a check for 90.00 and a cancelation notice written on Jan.06 2009, but we talked at 4:00 pm, he canceled at 12:01 that morning. That was already canceled before we talked. I have my phone records and billing, which shows him billing the payments out untill 3-09. As though I was still making payments. He kept some of the money and not just that money.

Getting back to my wife, she was a teacher at the time. Farmers gave discounts to BISD, but he had her as a home maker. I have that documented from them. The next agent didn't change either untill I changed it myself. I have gone through 3 agents and on my 4th now. I have gotten close to what i should be paying. I'am in the process of filing on all of them. With minimun insurance coverage we were getting back then, to all the increases now and more coverage. We are paying way less with more coverage. Check your LEXISNEXIS REPORT, THEY MANIPULATED MINE. I can't get coverage for the type of home we have in this area. All Insurance companies use that report and the Insurance companies control it. One free reprt a year on all information and anytime you apply for insurance, you can get a copy. Farmer's put all my family claims on my report to date. I have no claims Interesting . They say it doesn't affect you, but a farm bureau gave me a hard time and I brought it up. Then he question me about it. I have no accedents and a 800 credit score.

I coudn't get good prices because of my report. For three years it should as though i had no insurance. Getting back to claims, they put on one of my
vehicles a claim that my relative had. I got a copy of that from them. We have not had insurance with any relative. When we move to this area, we live with my sister for almost a year in 04 to begining of 05. There is no reason to put them in our house hold or my parents.Who lives twenty miles away in another town.

My third agent had us as both females. I have a copy off her computer, which was at the bottom of the my copy. I found it in my account online too. When we changed agents, she charge a 48.00 fee for changing us back to a married couple,but didn't send me a bill. It was on my online account , so i paid it purposely. It's so much, I'm not going to get into it.

Here are somethings I'm filing to TDI; UNFAIR PRACTICES, DOUBLE WRITTING POLICIES AS THOUGH WE HAVE CREDIT TO KEEP OVERCHARGED FEE'S, WHEN I CHANGED ME TO PRIMARY, AGENT CHANGED BACK AND WENT UP ON POLICIES, KEPT REFUNDS AND LIED TO US ABOUT MANY THINGS. I HAVE ALL THE PROOF FROM THERE DOCUMENTS.

Theft Loss

Do you know how to help me? Someone gutted my house and vandalized it. I have 5 policies with Farmers, anywhere between 3 and 6 for the past 30 years.

Three claims agents took the information. Then closed the case without payment. I am anxious and depressed and angry. I have lost nearly everything I had and am going bankrupt. Help if you can. Just encouragement would do.
