I have a felony that will probly show up on my check. it was in 2004 does that automaticaly disqualify me from a position with farmers? I jusy completed my third interview.

Apparantly you have not been reading this site. You could be molesting collies and Farmers will hire you. My suggestion, use spell check and brush up on your math & English. Since they don't drug test, smoke some good pot so you'll forget that you're working 65 hours a week chasing your tail. Good luck!! smoking smiley

Probably or that is why they are checking you. You have to be bonded and if keeps you from bonding, you are wasting your time.

Be honest when you complete your background information. I had a few misdemeanors that I had to get court documents on stating that the case has been closed. If you are honest, the licensing department will work with you.

I am in the process of preparing the Background check information for Farmers. I have just entered a credit card settle plan and I am worried that Farmers will decline me. I don't have $750.00 dollars lying around to risk losing.

most of the background checks have to do with criminal acitivities, bond issues, tickets.

Don't do it! Farmers will suck the life out of you then dump you in the trash like yesterdays stink garbage! But, yes they do check into your history. Since you are going to driving company vehicles if you are a field rep they want to make sure you do not have a terrible driving record etc. I have allot of debt and they still hired me. I also had no criminal history.

Hey,

I have been asked to do the background form and am wondering what they focus on? With this bad economy I've had some crappy short term jobs I didn't put on my resume, and my credit sucks now. (NO JOB = NO MONEY FOR BILLS these past 4 years). It's a corporate position, not selling insurance....

Am I screwed? What do they look at??

Have you heard anything I want to know the answer I have to do background check contact me so I will know what to expect I don't have felonies but credit might be an issue contact ASAP

Does anyone have current information on what Farmers uses for their credit checks........ do they look at all three agencies or one specific one? If it is just one, which one is it?

The only agency they check is Transunion. For a free report go to www.annualfreecreditreport.com you get 1 free credit report a year. I hope this helps.
