Farmers Insurance Agent Sentenced to 15 Months in Prison and to pay $97K

A Farmers Insurance Agent was sentenced to 15 months in prison and ordered to pay $97,800 in restitution for stealing insurance premiums. Between 2002 and 2004, George Robert Lane, an agent with Farmers Insurance Group, had clients deliver their insurance premium checks to him, not Farmers, prosecutors said.
