Farmers – Swiss-owned Farmers Insurance Group consistently ranks at or near the bottom of homeowner satisfaction surveys, and for good reason. Farmers insurance is the worst insurance company I have ever seen. I am insured by Geico, and was recently hit by someone with Farmers Insurance. The police report detailed that she had hit me, but they are still at this moment trying to deny the claim. I'm guessing they hope to delay it enough that I get someone else to do the work on my vehicle, and then they can claim that I paid too much and deny payment.
Two years ago I was in an accident caused by a Farmer's insured vehicle. The agent basically said that I COULD NOT have been injured to the degree I was and called me a liar. They refused to pay my medical bills--they offered a $500 settlement. Needless to say, we are going to court
